Defective Products: Most of our products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. See your product literature or speak with one of our product experts for details. If your product is defective upon arrival, notify the product expert of the problem within 24 hours of receiving goods. If you notice the defect after 24 hours of receiving goods, please contact our service department for further assistance. NOTE: Most manufacturers require one service call to diagnose the problem.
Damaged Products: All of our shipments are 100% insured. Product(s) will be delivered by one of our delivery teams for all local deliveries; Feel free to call us for our local delivery area. Upon delivery, inspect your product for damage. If the product is damaged, you have the right to refuse the delivery or notify us of the problem within 24 hours of receiving goods or immediately while our drivers are at your house. The Product Does Not Meet Your Needs: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you will need to contact the store regarding any cancellation or return. Essex Appliance Centre reserves the right to refuse or accept returns for major appliances purchased in-store or online at our discretion. Delivered products in use are not returnable. Any returned products must be free of any cosmetic damage. Products that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for return or may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any product that has been installed or attempted to be installed cannot be returned. Shipping and handling charges from our warehouse are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred when returning a product.
All electrical parts, ventilation products, and special order merchandise is final sale – even if not yet delivered – and will not be eligible for return or exchange if delivered and out of the box.
You may cancel your order at any time, however, a 20% restocking fee may be applicable.
The customer agrees to the terms and conditions published above when they place a completed order with our company. In addition, the customer authorizes their credit card company to abide by these terms. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.

Shipping Policy / Delivery Policy
Please be assured that your items will ship out as soon as possible from the date of purchase. If a special order is placed, please anticipate a longer delivery time. You will be notified once the item has been received in our warehouse. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. If you are trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, please note the following: Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing.
Essex Appliance offers free delivery on all appliance orders. Our delivery team is equipped with rubber-sided mats to cover up any hardwood, carpet, or delicate flooring you may have in your home before bringing in your new appliances. Our drivers must wear their steel-toed boots inside your home to keep themselves safe and cannot wear slippers over their boots for the risk of slipping with a heavy appliance on a slick floor.
We offer free removal of old stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, hoods, and microwaves. Any appliance with a compressor (fridges, freezers, air conditioners) will be properly drained and disposed of for $25. Our team unboxes your new product and inspects it for any damage before bringing it into your home.
Our team will not dress refrigeration with its shelves or door bins, nor do we set up burners or oven racks on stoves. Protective plastics over the doors are the customer's responsibility to remove.
Essex provides free rubber fill hoses to complete installs on washing machines. If stainless braided water lines are preferred, we have them available for purchase. We provide the setup on electric dryers but do not supply new dryer vents. We will use your existing vent if it is in good shape. New dryer vents are available to purchase if needed.
Our delivery drivers are not licensed plumbers, electricians, or gas fitters. We do not install or disconnect any dishwashers, fridge water lines, gas appliances, cooktops, wall ovens, vent hoods, or built-in appliances.
We ask that when you choose a delivery day you have no plans on that day. Our drivers will call you the morning of delivery to narrow down to a 2-hour window throughout the day.
We cannot promise a time for your delivery prior to your day of delivery. You will receive a call in the morning of delivery to give the 2-hour window when they will arrive.
Our delivery team will treat your home as if it were their own. If there are any unseen circumstances where our team can’t complete your delivery, the customer will be informed and walked through what your next step would be to getting the job done.
